World of Warcraft Races Overview and Review - Gnomes

A very fun race to play sometimes. The gnomes have an interesting back story, and look. They make the best spell casters, but any of their classes can be fun to play. It is an amusing sight to see a gnome warrior in full gear, with a big axe or sword.

One fun benefit of playing a gnome is their size. While it also translates into a low strength stat, they are also hard to click on in a fight sometimes. A fact I have used to my advantage on many an occasion. They are the inventors extraordinaire of the World of Warcraft. Their fun; always strange, gizmo’s add another cool layer to them.

Their racial abilities push them as spell casters. Expansive mind gives them a 5% increase in intellect, and arcane resistance gives them a 2% reduction to be hit by arcane spells. Both are useful for casting and avoiding spells. Escape artist also lets them escape a wide variety of movement affecting effects. The also get 15 bonus points in Engineering which allows them to craft cool stuff.

I consider the gnomes to be one of the most fun races to play. They make very good spell caster, which I like to play and are simply one of the most unique races. Many people don’t like to play gnomes because they are small, and don’t have the intimidation factor of some of the other races. I prefer to play for the interesting experiences each race provide. No aspect of the game is exactly the same for different race and class combinations, and gnomes give everything a unique view.

A long time fan of blizzard entertainment. I got involved with Warcraft when I got my first computer. The original game was included with the game package I bought. I have been a fan ever since.
